GOVERNOR SOLUDO APPOINTS MR. JOACHIN ACHOR AS ACTING ACCOUNTANT GENERAL

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has approved the appointment of Mr. Joachin Chinedum Achor as Acting Accountant General of Anambra State, effective immediately.

One of them is the provision stipulating that traditional rulers can be buried according to their religious dispositions.

MacRose Foundation Set to Uplift the Needy, Sick Persons, to Marks One Year Anniversary

A Non Governmental Organisation, MacRose Pleasant Humanitarian  Foundation, has commenced plans to hold its second health Outreach in Anambra State.

The Foundation with the motto: Helping The Less Privileged, was founded in July 2024, and held its first medical outreach in April this year, where it offered treatment to about 400 people with various ailments.

The Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) says collaborations and partnerships with governors of the Southeast states will greatly help to fight forest crimes for grassroots transformation and rural development in the region. 

Commander-General of the NFSS Dr. Joshua Wole Osatimehin stated this at the closing session of the NFSS nationwide sensitization visit to all its zonal commands held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
