Two hundred youths in Anambra State are to be trained on the TAENPROWIZ Fish Production Business System and Technology under the second phase of the ECOWAS Commission and the Fisheries and Aquaculture Value Chain Business Development Partnership, otherwise known as the Taenprowiz Production System and Technology Partnership Center, Anambra State anchored by FABDA with legs at the Adazi-Nnukwu Fish Production Village Business franchise and the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam.

MacRose Foundation Set to Uplift the Needy, Sick Persons, to Marks One Year Anniversary

A Non Governmental Organisation, MacRose Pleasant Humanitarian  Foundation, has commenced plans to hold its second health Outreach in Anambra State.

The Foundation with the motto: Helping The Less Privileged, was founded in July 2024, and held its first medical outreach in April this year, where it offered treatment to about 400 people with various ailments. 

NFSS Seeks Collaborations With Southeast Governors To Fight Forest Crimes

 

The Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) says collaborations and partnerships with governors of the Southeast states will greatly help to fight forest crimes for grassroots transformation and rural development in the region. 

Commander-General of the NFSS Dr. Joshua Wole Osatimehin stated this at the closing session of the NFSS nationwide sensitization visit to all its zonal commands held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu. 

South East Group: Marriage with PDP a Nightmare, Roots for Political Realignment*

The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, has berated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for alleged serial injustice against the region, describing the zone's marriage with the main opposition party as nightmarish.

 The group urged leaders of the party in the region to seek political alignment outside of the party ahead of the 2027 general election, maintaining  that the region has no future in the PDP.

Federal lawmaker donates mobile labs, renovates existing lab in Enugu school

 

The Member Representing Enugu North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Chimaobi Atu, has donated three smart mobile laboratories and  renovated existing laboratory hall in Comprehensive Secondary School, Akwuke, Enugu.

The Federal lawmaker also donated laboratory long tables, stools, customised laboratory self-learn guide booklets, laboratory coats and other laboratory consumables; and equipping of the newly renovated laboratory hall of the school with laboratory items.

Presenting the smart mobile laboratories to the school, Atu said that the initiative was part of his intervention tagged: Renovation and Installation of Mobile Smart Laboratories in Selected School in Enugu North and South Federal Constituency.
