PRP impeaches Anambra State party Chairman

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Anambra State chapter has suspended its State Chairman, Mathias Aninwachukwu for two months over what it termed gross misconduct, incapacitation, barefaced and flagrant violation of the party’s constitution.
According to PRP, Aninwachukwu was highhanded, ineffectual, nonchalant, and mugger, whose style of leadership was incapable of leading the party to victory on the November 18th Anambra state gubernatorial poll.

It was a ceremony that reflected an atmosphere of conviviality and brotherliness as people of Ojoto Akanasato community in Idemili South Council Area recently unveiled their new Igwe-elect, Chief Dennis Adindu Okafor.
The new traditional ruler was presented to the entire community by elders of Enugo village during a stakeholders meeting of Ojoto Akanasato Union, the town's highest decision -making body.

NEMA Announces Rapid Response plans in the south East.
The national emergency management agency south east zone says the agency is ready to arrest any emergency situation that may arise from impending flooding this year.
It assures of the agency's readiness to nip in the bud any record of disaster related issues and outlined measures already in place and equipment procured by government to tackle disaster cases from flooding to fire and other man made emergencies.
NEMA coordinator for the South east and his Anambra state counterpart spoke to journalists on the level of the agency’s preparedness.
